That looks great. Sad that it only seems to be a catering service and not a restaurant. Where in Greenville is this going to be?

I'm not feeling that name. I get what it means but it's kind of weird for a food service.

I completely concur. Gasto anything has a negative health connotation. I would rethink the name for sure.

It's actually Gastro with an R.

Gastronomy is the study of food and culture, with a particular focus on gourmet cuisine. Gastronomy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I fear that the huge majority of people will do like you have, and misinterpret the meaning of the word.

I'm not sure why you would think of a negative health connotation. Gastro basically just means stomach.

Amazing how quickly this is progressing. There hasn't been a shovel in dirt for the uptown parking deck yet. This new complex should be done by spring next year.

I accidentally misspelled it Richard. And I work in the healthcare field - anyone involved in healthcare knows Gastro to typically relate to patients being seen for stomach issues. Bad connotation. I realize a large portion of the public won't view it the way I do. And part of what I was saying was a little tongue-in-cheek anyway. Fortunately for me - I don't need the encyclopedia link. I'm well aware of what it means and I didn't misinterpret the word.

I interpreted it the same way you do. I have acid reflux and call the doctor who treats it my "gastro doctor."

I don't want to think about the food coming up before I even eat it!! :-)
