Pretty sure the Battery Park one can get moved to the complete section.
According to the website, and what I've seen down there, construction is done and every unit has been rented. Only ONE empty unit remains.
Pretty cool. They built it... and they came.

I think there's more planned at Battery Park. Now all they need is their entrance ramp onto the Shoreway hahhahahaha poor old saps! I feel so badly for them. Must be hard to live so close to the Shoreway, but have to go all the way down to Lake & Clifton or W. 49th Street. Life is hard.

hmmm. Not sure. Haven't seen anything going on and there doesn't look like there's much room left to build anything.

I read both of those articles as well yesterday. I agree, the Euclid Corridor is pretty nice (I would prefer LRT, but there are still plans for expansion in Cleveland's rail system, so this is a nice addition) and has created a lot of new development. I never understood some of the complaints, but I guess you will get that with anyone. Only thing I do not like about this new campus forming in Midtown is how suburban it is and how they are actually taking pride in it being suburban. Besides that, a lot of other great urban designs have occurred along its route. Not to mention, across from this new campus in Midtown there is a nice park under construction, not to mention all the great things that have happened in Playhouse Square and along CSU's campus.

The Med Mart is already bringing in some significant conventions. That place is going to be awesome. I can't wait until the park on top of the convention center is finished so we have that great view back.

BRT was the next best thing and much less expensive. They used what they had and made the most of it. That's the best we can ask that they do. $200 (or so) million spent - $3-4 billion invested in the area since. Not a bad ROI.

Eh, I don't think anyone is indicating that Midtown's aim is to be "suburban"-like. The layout of the area doesn't really lend to that anyway.

They want to have a suburban feel, while still moving back into the urban environment.
It just seems the developer wants a more suburban campus (which the design goes more that way) for suburban commuters. I would really like better quality materials and less sprawled out buildings, and encourage more density. But it's a start, and I am not trying to sound too negative.

Default Another ALOFT Hotel (W Hotel) under construction!

Hey everyone!

It's been a while since I've been on City-data.com. Well, now I'm back with the latest. Another ALOFT Hotel is under construction in the Highland Hts. / Beachwood area. I rode past it yesterday... How fabulous that we're getting 2 ALOTS (W Hotel). One in the Flats and another under construction by the Eaton Corp. world headquarters... Wo!
