Any rumblings on proposals that will be a major addition to the Cleveland skyline? The Ernst & Young building will be nice, anyone hear anything on future phases of the Flats East Bank and the proposed 17 story building? Is Courthouse Plaza, or 515 Euclid moving or sitting in proposal limbo? Michelle Jarboe McPhee never responds to my posts :P

1) 21-story Flats East Bank tower ("Ernst and Young") is well under construction. An 8-story Aloft hotel is under construction down there as well. I do not own the rights to these pics, so here are a few links:

2) Phase two of the Flats East Bank will be residential and retail...looks to be about 7-stories: Flats East Bank project lines up country-music venue, eateries and looks to $120 million phase 2 | cleveland.com

3) 515 Euclid Ave condo tower would have the largest skyline impact due to its location -- no rumblings.

4) Courthouse plaza -- zero chance. It died over 5 years ago.

BUT, besides the Medical Mart and Convention Center, please note most of the redevelopment happening Downtown are complete and needed rehabs:

- Horseshoe Casino
- Cleveland Aquarium
- 3 hotels
- apartments, apartments, apartments

I'm all for height, but infill to me is the best thing for Cleveland, which we are seeing very much Downtown! Cleveland's inner city is growing faster than its suburbs as young adults flock downtown | cleveland.com

Well, based on all of the great information posted on this thread I'm glad it was a "sticky" on the Cleveland Forum.

Also, based on the remarkably high number of "views" of this thread it apparently is getting a lot of interest even beyond the posters on this forum.

Good job guys, I always support Cleveland and this thread certainly shows some of the major plusses of the city and area!

Thanks everyone. It's become impossible to deny the buzz around town from all the new construction and building reuses. AND I'm more than happy to help spread the message with pure data.

I really love this city because even the smallest projects/improvements can make an individual feel like they are making a difference -- because he or she is!
