And in other news...Flats East Bank phase II just upped their total number of apartments from 140 units to 245 units:

He hopes to close a public-private financing deal within 60 days for the next wave of development. Updated plans for that second phase include 245 apartments, plus restaurants and entertainment venues.

You're right Costello it's very difficult to keep track especially when it seems a new rehab for offices or apartments rolls out every other day . My count is 7 with a 8th still in the works.

1. The LeMeridien, as you mentioned.
2. The Aloft at the Ernst & Young Tower.
3. The Kimpton Hotel at the Schofield Building.
4. The Drury Plaza Hotel at the Cleveland Board of Education.
5. The Westin at the former Crowne Plaza.
6. The Marriott Signature Collection Hotel at the former Ameritrust Tower.
7. The Hilton Worldwide at the Cleveland Convention Center.

AND

8. The return of Crowne Plaza to DT CLE at the Cleveland Athletic Club (not yet announced)

That doesn't mention the Clinic and their plans for another hotel uptown. Also I'm not sure if any of the developers who submitted lakefront proposals included hotels in their plans, but those would be a ways off from coming to fruition anyhow.

Costello I wanted to ask you, and I realize it's a lot of work but are you considering posting an updated master list?

So yeah...I have been out of the list keeping of developments for a while now...SEVEN??

I have gotten so behind on the lists I used to make, but I'm sure I can take a crack at another one...as long as you guys audit me if I forget anything...much may very well be the case with all this dizzying development in the city core.

The hotel developments in the last month alone have been very impressive.

So, so, so awesome! All these development in CLE makes you wonder what's really about to happen here. It's one thing to hear about the medical convention center bringing business on a global scale, but there's gotta be more in the pipeline they're not revealing to the public just yet.

If global warming works out, I would consider moving back to Cleveland since the weather would become like Washington DC weather. Very exciting to see all this. I wonder if there is a place to see annual enrollment at Case Western Reserve and CSU each of the past 30 or so years? That would be a great indicator of where the city is at too.
