I'm never pessimistic about things going on in Cleveland (except the way the Indians have been playing this past week). But this is one of those things that I can't really see happening, at least not anytime soon. Could be a very cool feature to our city though if it did happen.

I think there needs to be more to explore on the waterfront FIRST before they consider anything like this.
Seems like an even more ridiculous version of Detroit's People Mover.

I think you're absolutely right. I know the city submitted their request for qualifications to developers for the lakefront over a month ago that Costello shared with us. Anyone know if there has been any follow up to that?

I somewhat agree; however, has anybody considered that this sky lift will actually open the doors for much more development?
Cleveland is moving ahead very fast with some major projects as of late. There has to be some type of catalyst to spur on further development - this sky lift could certainly fulfill this need.

Cleveland is moving ahead very fast with some major projects as of late. There has to be some type of catalyst to spur on further development - this sky lift could certainly fulfill this need.
