DCA's Q2 2013 Market Update. Absolutely love the job they do on these slide shows, and doesn't hurt that over the past couple of years they've shown good news for C-town

Also an article from the National Journal on how East 4th was born. Nothing wrong with a little pub regarding Cleveland's level of awesome

I'm never pessimistic about things going on in Cleveland (except the way the Indians have been playing this past week). But this is one of those things that I can't really see happening, at least not anytime soon. Could be a very cool feature to our city though if it did happen.

Cleveland Sky Lift

keeping my fingers crossed...

"SkyLift is an aerial cable car system that connects ou to Cleveland's waterfront so you can enjoy and explore our city."

I think there needs to be more to explore on the waterfront FIRST before they consider anything like this.

Seems like an even more ridiculous version of Detroit's People Mover.

I think you're absolutely right. I know the city submitted their request for qualifications to developers for the lakefront over a month ago that Costello shared with us. Anyone know if there has been any follow up to that?

I somewhat agree; however, has anybody considered that this sky lift will actually open the doors for much more development? Cleveland is moving ahead very fast with some major projects as of late. There has to be some type of catalyst to spur on further development - this sky lift could certainly fulfill this need.

I think looking down from above will help spur development on the lakefront/waterfront!

I enjoyed watching the aerial views. But really, this would obstruct these views, right? Cause all those cables and passing cars would get in the way. The skyline from the lakefront would never look the same.

Seriously, if the waterfront line only runs on weekends these days, how popular could this possibly be?

I'm happy that the video currently has 155 views.

Great. It has been since June '11 that I've been to CLE, and it seems like even in that short time there's been plenty of improvement.
