thats because they were obviously speaking "Standard English" which is like the typical American speaking voice and is not at all the "DC ACCENT"

And by the way she sounds like shes from NY... I wouldn't of never known that she is from Philly if it wasn't for you just now.... thats what we be talking about when we say yall all sound alike

Can you show me another hoodrat in another city anywhere in the world that sounds like that. I'm talking about a D.C. girl! Good luck with that lol! What words are pronounced in Philly different from everywhere else? Post video examples with pronunciations included like I did. (vurry = very)

Those are a few phily accents, I can keep going. And in all those vids you posted they sound generic

The Philly accent transcends race more than the DC one(actually what is the white DC accent?), But the Philly black accent does sound a lil bit different.

But Cris also sounds Generic with a touch of NY... I can barely hear any accent when he rap or talk... and when my Co worker and I spoke to him he sound like he could of been from anywhere from MD on up to NY... thats how Generic he sounds!!!
