You're just one of millions that live there. So grow up and stop acting like you're better than everyone.

Like -.- said, the same could be said about DC going by your criteria. Does that make me a better person than you for living in the nation's capital? No. I'm even part of the DC government as a DC fireman and I don't act like I'm better because I'm in this city. I could never act as ignorant as you and a couple other New Yorkers on this board. I hope people on here don't think that all New Yorkers are as bad as these few though because in my experience they aren't.

lol @ this. i don't feel like i'm better but thanks for the compliment.

also, thanks for making the post and the topic about me (and nycricanpapi). we never said that it was about us at all, but your inferiority complex is on your sleeve and is visible to us all now. thanks for sharing your thoughts about us.

also, you don't know what i create or contribute to my city at all. as a graphic designer, i *do* contribute to nyc and i'm very creative, actually, since you brought it up. guess i don't have to toot my own horn because you've worn it out already. i appreciate it tho. you could rep me and save the monologues tho.

the thread was about state pride and i answered the question. nyc has A LOT of pride. we DO rep our city, state and region very well and are willing to do it wherever, whenever. period. this is fact as seen by your friends in the middle of nowhere with a yankees fitted, proud as anything to talk about where they're from.

nobody said that you couldn't say any other city.

i DO think that you could say the same thing about DC and the south. i never said that you couldn't.

and again, this isn't about an individual this is about pride in one's state and or city. in your case, DC isn't a state or in a state so actually no, you can't say the same thing about DC, huh? oh ok.

So the guy has an inferiority complex now for stating the truth?

How typical.

I'm just proud that I live in one of the few civilized states in the nation, and not someplace uncivilized (i.e. the south). It's nice here, I can go out for a nice evening and enjoy good dining, nightlife, etc. I feel bad for people whose only idea of fine dining and nightlife is Cracker Barrel and then Jebediah's moonshine jug Dixie band.

he comes off as having an inferiority complex for attempting to make the thread about two individuals talking about how ppl from ny have a lot of state pride.

instead of talking about his...commonwealth... and the pride that the ppl that live there have, he chose to focus on two ppl from nyc and how much pride we have.

he chose to have his lip poked out because of how much pride *we* have in our city and state.

thats a personal issue and yes, it comes across as an inferiority complex.

truthfully, i fully expected you and a cosigner, usually machiavelli1, to cheer lead anything against nyc as you normally do.

its typical.

Yeah, I just wish I lived closer to the "promised land" so I too could enjoy the delight of a deep-fried hot dog.

Time to go feed the chickens.

Obviously everybody else seems to agree with me so I can't be that wrong. Inferiority complex? HAHA How did you come up with that one. I already said I like NYC and have plenty of friends there. None of them act like you. It's just annoying(obviously to everyone) that the posts usually say nothing except "We're better than you". I get that you have pride and that's fine. However, you show it in a very arrogant and immature way. Once again, I'm not the only one that thinks that as you can see.

I tooted my own horn because I said I don't think I'm important because I live in a powerful city? Okay?

Nice response. You really made yourself look good there. Especially with saying DC isn't a state. Guess what though, NYC isn't either. haha Im done with you since it's a waste of time.

By the way... thanks for all of the rep points everyone. Never got so many so fast. haha
