You Honestly think Indy has a better Downtown than Boston, in what way?
Boston Financial District (Boston downtown core) is nice. Get rid of the Filene's hole and make Quincy Market a legitimate public and spruce up Washington St., then I'll rate it higher. It could use more beautifications or further development. Indy has a well planned downtown with simple access. It's beautiful and organized. You have all the retail/entertainment and attractions downtown. Downtown cores only! No Back Bay nor North End!

If you don't think The north end is the Downtown core your insane.
I'll tell you what isn't a fact: any list that purports to put Indianapolis as the third-best downtown in the country. That's laughable by any measure. Then again, I'm not convinced your list wasn't meant to be taken as a joke, so perhaps "laughable" was what you were going for.

If by "better" one means "more sterile, less energy, more surface parking lots and fewer businesses," then Indianapolis's downtown is indeed "better" than Boston. By any other definition, it's not.
How is Indy Better than Boston, not how Boston can improve
More bars, attractions, shops, restaurants and clubs in downtown core of Indy. It's a lot cleaner and livier at night in this downtown. Boston, it's in the hoods and urban centers adjacent to downtown. Downtown cores only needs apply.
