San Francisco by far. Dallas has good stores, but you'll have to drive all over town.

I would say San Fransico for big city urban style shopping but for suburban style mall shopping Dallas is king .

Not to mention SF gets fashion trends way before Dallas does simply because its on the West Coast.

You don't ever see Dallas mentioned with cities like London, Milan, Tokyo, NYC, & LA when it comes to fashion design. You do SF.

Dallas is barely above cities like Atlanta & Houston for fashion.

I agree. I would definitely group Dallas with Atlanta and Houston.

I would think Atlanta is more a mixture of suburban and urban shopping Buck Head is Like one of Atlanta's downtowns.

I'd go with San Francisco. Much better shopping districts that have a true urban feel; one can roam around (by foot or public transit) easily and check out a bevy of shops. In Dallas that is simply not the case. San Francisco also wins on having small, local stores as well.

So not only does Dallas have better shopping than SF, but also Chicago as well.

All of those stores are found anywhere USA. I didn't know JC Penney's was still in business, don't they compete with K-Mart these days?
