Hands down. The city that represents Blacks in America the best is Detriot. All other cities got their blue print from Motown. Even what Detriot is today, it best represents black america to the fullest. It gets no blacker than Detriot. The only other city that shows the true face of black people in this country would probably be New Orleans, but they are a fair second.
I should post the nasty stuff you say about black Americans in general in the Atlanta threads out here. At one end your saying all this nasty crap about those cities and then turn around and say they represents Blacks in America the best. ) Please.
I think Detroit is good contender as well. Atlanta, Detroit, DC, Phily, Chicago(even though it's quite segragated) and Harlem have great roles in representing the plight of Black America.

Detriot is the blueprint of black america. Even what it is today, represents what being black actually is in the United States. Many blacks worked in those autoplants & made good money. And they didnt walk around saying "LOOK AT ME IM BLACK I MAKE A GOOD LIVING" they just worked & brought up their families...til crack came in.
