I think the title would be " Capital Of Black Americas" even then you'll speaking in terms of Afro Diaspora then Black American. Hence , we're speaking primary of the U.S.

I would say it is in the running for the top 5 but I think New York is the closest city that can give DC and Atlanta a run for their money. Houston is in that tier with Philadelphia and Chicago and that's a solid tier.

How so? Do you mean in terms of black population growth or total black population?

I’ll keep it in the Top 5. Houston has the HBCU culture that Philly and Chicago lack. Houston is way more desirable for blacks than those two as well. The rap culture in Houston is stronger than those two.

LA doesn't have the black population that other cities have but when it comes to entertainment it is in a way a Black capital. Think about all the important black musicians that have recorded there. From Ray Charles to Marvin Gaye. And the famous tv show Soul Train was also shot in LA.

I stated in terms of population; over half a million Blacks within the city proper.

I disagree that Houston is way more desirable than those two cities, especially Philadelphia. Those two are just as established as being centers for black culture and black people even in their respective regions as Houston. While they may lack the HBCU culture, it isn’t like Houston is Atlanta or DC here. Again, Houston is in their tier with each having an advantage over the other. It is also absolutely false that the rap culture in Houston is stronger than Chicago and Philadelphia. I don’t know if you don’t about these two scenes but it doesn’t take a back seat to Houston.

Seattle? Really? Out of all the West Coast cities, Seattle? LOL

But for this poll, I think its Atlanta nowadays. Music, food, sheer population size, etc.
