If you renounce Christ as Savior and turn away from God,YES.Satan tries to get us Christians to do this all the time, the weaker the Christian the easier to do....
God will not tolerate us living in sin without punishment.......

The Bible also says there's only one thing man can do that is unforgivable--blaspheme the Holy Spirit.

But in order to be forgiven, we need to repent and return.
The prodigal son was forgiven and accepted back into His father's house.. because he returned. Even though his father wanted him back, and possibly had forgiven him in his heart, yet this forgiveness could not be realized or extended until the son returned. The door was, and is, open, but if we do not return, we will perish in the cold.

Right, but I thought this was about losing your salvation, not receiving it. I was saying--or attempted to--you could definitely lose it over that unforgivable sin.

Yes, I agree with you! Sorry it didn't sound like it!
I was just building on the point of "forgiveness". Some say that because only one sin is unforgivable, all others will be covered. And they can be, but God requires repentance in order to show forgiveness.

AWESOME! and how can you repent-enter the Holy Spirit and then turn away from him again? Question remains did you really repent and did the Holy Spirit really enter you because if you did how in the world can you turn away?

While I am in this world, I will need to crucify the flesh daily, yet it does not die until my time on earth is over.
It's a daily battle, we can tell from the constant admonishments and encouragements in the NT to fight and remain faithful, that it's not over till it's over.
