Islam has 99 words for God. One expression not in the ninety-nine words is Father.

"Our Father" is what the Lord Jesus Christ responded when asked how to pray. God is not merely a Judge, He is Abba, a term of intimate union and communion.

A new unprecedented Day draws nearer as Abba brings to consummation what has always been in His heart, to restore the all back to Himself.

Someone mentioned that City-Data is now one of only a few Christian forums that UR can be spoken of. It's essentially been banned from most Christian forums.

Luk 18:7 and shall not God execute the justice to His choice ones, who are crying unto Him day and night—bearing long in regard to them?
Luk 18:8 I say to you, that He will execute the justice to them quickly; but the Son of Man having come, shall he find the faith upon the earth?'

It's interesting, because Luke used the Gk definite article when quoting Jesus. He spoke of "the faith". Gk: "την πιστιν". A peculiar faith, a faith unique to the elect. After reading the hardened responses against UR, it would seem that only those who believe on Him who justifies the ungodly (Rom 4:5), are the elect that Jesus spoke of. That unique faith, being a rare faith upon the earth, when He returns.

Romans 4:5 has nothing to do with UR, as we see by reading the entire verse.

5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness,

The Lord does indeed justify the ungodly by changing them from the inside out.

Read carefully Jimmie....

The many made sinners = the identical many made righteous.

polus = polus

You have to believe in Him who justifies the ungodly. You forgot to underline what the person we believe in does. He justifies the ungodly. That IS believing in UR...LOL

It's almost as if they will not and cannot believe. We're dealing with the flesh here, not the spirit.

LOL...The ungodly do not believe. That's just it. If they did believe they would be called saints (Rom 1:7).

jimmiej -

Do a Greek lexical study of the term "ασεβη". Highlight the term and google it. That's whom Jesus IS justifying.

You will find evangelical lads such as Jimmi do not relish searching for anything that requires stretching their limit button.

The depraved and broken sinners of the schism of lostness and depravity are coming home to the One who changes every one into His image, minus the slag.

"The death of Jesus was the opening and the emptying of the full heart of God; it was the out-gushing of that ocean of infinite mercy that heaved and panted and longed for an outlet; it was God showing how he could love a poor, guilty sinner." - Octavius Winslow
