The deep probings of our Father lead us into bursting springs of Living Water. Each of us as unique beings of His birthing, are on different stages of a journey whose beginning and ending is Him!
This thread is being started to have a place for discussing of all aspects of Universalism. At the time it is started, there are 6 threads open and active just on the first page of the Christianity forum. As those threads run their courses, they will be closed, as will older ones that get resurrected. It is the view of the moderators that having one thread to discuss a topic leaves more topics in view for those readers who only browse the first page of the forum (most readers).
I love Universalism, it helped me find my way to the truth, which is the only way to truly believe is to be agnostic, there is no other stance to take. You can't prove that there is a god, just like atheists can't prove that there is not a god. It is by far, the only way to be until proven otherwise......and I don't mean that an angel came to you in a dream and told you there was a god. We won't go there about how the brain works.

Dear Northsouth: I love the God whose plan from day 1 is the Restitution of the all. His chords are breaking in upon us as we are tuned to His spontaneous vibrations.
Universal-ism is a hard pill to swallow for many. For many, without the spiritual component, the human mind is limited to comprehension via the five senses. Sight, Sound, Smell, Taste, and Touch. So, it is easy to understand the human understandings of rewards and punishment.
Adding a spiritual component to that, the human mind, has a conscience towards a higher element with a totally different perspective and set of rules, which....... are no rules.......because they are of a totally voluntary nature. Which are: Love, Joy, Peace, Long-Suffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, Temperance.
On the latter, there is no "Hell" verses the former....which can be hell.
So, it only stands to reason that "Hell" is limited to the earthly experience and not the heavenly. (If, the earthly equals the former and the latter the heavenly)
I understand it to be limited to the earthly experience because of the following verse: Rom_6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. The wages....is our debt to sin...ends with death.
Based on that verse alone, mankind's universal death condemnation was part of being created in the flesh and therefore, necessitating a change of mankind's universal spiritual state........ as a free gift....gifted by its Creator. In this case "Jesus".
The big question is......for any generation.......is acceptance of the "free gift" and voluntarily exercising the 9 gifts of the spirit.
That would be heaven on earth as our backing.
It's universal but...... limited to acceptance for enjoying it while still in the flesh and yet everlasting after death.
People who make mere assertions without even an attempt to back up their assertions don't deserve any attention. Such people simply waste everyone's time.
LOUIS ABBOTT – UNIVERSAL SALVATION ASSURED
Interested students of the Word of God will decide if Louis Abbott knows what He is talking about.
AN ANALYTICAL STUDY OF WORDS – LOUIS ABBOTT
In the forward to his book AN ANALYTICAL STUDY OF WORDS, Louis Abbott wrote, “One key area various denominations are divided over is the final destiny of the ungodly, the wicked, the unsaved, the unregenerate, or however one wishes to phrase it.
There are three views on this subject. Each position claims Scriptural support: (1) eternal torment; (2) eternal destruction; and (3) the ultimate salvation of all. It is obvious that all cannot be correct. Two of them have to be wrong.
I pray this book will be a blessing to all who are struggling with this subject.” (unquote)
Notice how Louis proves that numbers one and two are wrong according to the Bible.
