This is a Cub fan thread. Do you want me to talk about the White Sox curse of body odor and overweight female fans that have mullets?

Agreed. Something is telling my gut, this is it. I can feel it. Harden's fastball is going to be sick with placement, control, and movement. That's right, i can feel it. Maybe Sori wants to step up instead of back to back post season flops and Fuku with his stellar performance of 0-8, can be benched for now.

Well, that was awesome. Excellent offensive performance. And it sucks even more when the umps help to give the game away. Someone explain to me how someone who slides headfirst right into a waiting glove can be called safe? Ah well, would have been a non-issue if any Cub could have actually moved a base runner or two.

Soriano has proven two years in a row now that he's deadwood in the playoffs. This may be his last year here.

There's something else at work alright. Sold out games, regardless of how the team does. A totally loyal fan base that accepts the "there's always next year" mantra. One of the largest payrolls in all of baseball and they still don't get to the promised land. In what other situation do people return to a place that continuously disappoints? Cubs fan should stage a post play off rally. Organize yourselves in front of Wrigley Field and make your disappointed and pain heard. If the teams sucks, stop going to the game to support the organization. Avenger mocks Sox fans saying that they're overweight with body odor and mullets. I'm sure some fit that description, but most do not. What's more important to Cubs fans? A eye candy audience or a World Series? At least the South Side won a World Series. It took them way too long too. But they did it in our lifetimes. And all the bars, glitz, ivy, national coverage and pretty people can't take that away. I felt really badly for the Cubs fans tonight watching game 3. A born and bred northsider and Cubs fans for the first 32 years of my life leaves a soft spot for them. My family (from Lakeview) has buried too many relatives who never saw them win a World Series. Talk about being bitter. In the late 90's I gave up on them. One of the best decisions of my life.
