that's a heat index of 132 degrees. The closest I've come to that was the Peruvian rainforest where the air was so miserably hot and humid that paper would get wet just sitting in the air on a sunny day. That would only have been about 80% humidity.

During Miami's peak heat today (85 degrees), humidity was at 60%. Thats pretty high, but definitely NOT 90%. Tell your mom to stop exaggerating.

j/k

You're very sensitive about weather--or at least about people making inaccurate statements about weather. Perhaps you missed your true career calling? Skilling has got to retire eventually...

Maybe he really is Steve Baskerville from Ch. 2 and hates being in the shadow of Skilling...

Uhm, he did answer the question so what's your issue?

Speaking of "move on," why dredge up a 5-month-old post just to issue a one-line lecture on it, especially when it doesn't even make any sense? It's old news already... move on.

90 degrees with 100% humidity? I believe thats only happend a few times on earth, and oddly enough that was in the Middle East somewhere (I forget what city). Southern Florida is tropical, and typical humidity levels during peak temps are around 60-70%, which is horribly oppressive IMO.

Ok, so it's not sunny florida in the winter. But the harsh winters enable Chicago to have the most beautiful summers. I'd take a Chicago winter over a Phoenix or Miami summer.

In a heartbeat!

I like your handle... my buddy wants to shove a ZZ4 into his lifted Sonoma (10" total lift).

We have an ice storm coming. Be very careful walking on streets, sidewalks, train platforms,etc...! They will be covered in ice that you cannot see.

Everyone that has property-please salt your sidewalks as often as you can.

Be careful driving too! Reduce your speed.

Oh God I could see it now... "Well Steve-O it was really something out there today, when is this horrendous weather going to end?"... "Well Steve and Micah, while you may say it was miserable, it wasn't! Today was absolutely breath taking as the crisp rain came down in the refreshing 20 degree temperatures with the gentle 40 mph breeze blowing. It was truly wonderous once again reminding us all why Chicago is truly paradise. Now San Diego where it was 75 and sunny, YUCK!!! BORING!!!" LOL!
