Apparently not because my neighbor across the street doesn't shovel her snow no matter how many inches we get and we live on a main blvd that a bus line runs on, so there's always foot traffic. A few years back when I was out of town for a week and couldn't shovel, I didn't get any notices or anything.

Congratulations. I hear you can get way, way more space for your dollar when buying a home down there. Which is awesome, because then I'd have somewhere to keep all the millions you'd have to pay me to move to that giant Shrek-bog of a state.

And in case you're wondering the electric bill for A/C was $120-150/mo during summer for a 1400sqft condo. I've heard heating gas during winter can be upwards of $300-400/mo! We rented with heat included so that fortunately never hit us.
My cousin just got back from Tampa, said it was warm and still sticky. No thanks!
