BTW, 1200 North and Western for many people IS the North side, but 1600 South and Western is considered West side by most. This is defined by the people that live in the neighborhood...not you. Your proving my point. So maybe you guys want to come down to the southtown and you won't have to worry about these people.
Well, I can't help that these people are retarded in the head. If they want to believe North & Western is The Land of Nod, let them, for all I care. They just ought to be prepared to laughed at and dismissed if this particular topic comes up in conversation.

To those that may live say Andersonville. The HEART of yuppieville. Where 99.99% think that Auburn Gresham refers to a NCAA basketball team.

I don't think anyone that posts here on a regular basis lives in Andersonville.

Lincoln Park or Lake View is the heart of yuppieville. Hands down.

Your O-P-I-N-I-O-N, not a commonly accepted fact. I repeat, NOT a commonly accepted fact.

My point, from the beginning, is that where the northwest side begins is really open to interpretation, and I am right.

Apparently, my OPINION is also the opinion of the City Of Chicago itself, your opinion is also the opinion of a stinky old fish.

City of Chicago :: Near Northwest Side Plan

"The Near Northwest Side Plan addresses ongoing changes to the Fulton River District, Eckhart Park, Noble Square, East Village and Ukrainian Village neighborhoods. Its focus involves public open space and transit, development guidelines for new construction, and techniques to promote livability in the great community area."

Keep a civil tongue in your head when you address me.

If real estate interests, socially anxious wannabe North Siders and racists want to call the West Side the North Side I'm not surprised the city government is willing to go along. It's phony and superficial and I suppose totally in keeping with the times.
