Well, I suppose so. I just always think of Jefferson Park and all that stuff up there as NW. I To me, I always saw Hermosa and Avondale as the 'beginning' of the NW side.

It's definitely a decision that anyone who answers the poll has to make, but I consider Wicker Park/Bucktown/Humboldt and even Ukrainian Village Northwest Side hoods, myself. Others may have their own interpretation. Here's a map of Chicago's north & northwest sides, I found it at some realty website.
Looking at it closer it contains part of the south loop and near west, but, hey...
