Do y'all think it will be busy this weekend since school is out and what not? I'm wanting to go on Sunday but am a little hesitant due to the number of people who might be there?

Thanks!

Jonathan

Because of the economic times, it should be slammed packed all season!

^Huh? Isn't Carowinds a little on the expensive side? I'd think if economic problems were a concern there are a lot cheaper ways to spend a Sunday, no?

I do agree however, that it will likely be packed every weekend. Because it is made entirely of awesome.

Early Sunday's has always been a nice time to go to Carowinds - many people are in church and don't seem to get there until well after lunch. So, my advice, go when the gates open

I think buying a season pass is a way to give a person something to do all summer at an inexpensive price.

When we had our RV and our Paramount season passes, we used to take vacations at the various parks and their campgrounds (Kings Dominion, Kings Island, Carowinds, Wonderland, etc). We'd make side trips to the other local attractions too, but the kids loved spending time in the theme parks.

However, it's not worth it for us to buy passes any longer. The excitement / thrill at Carowinds has long passed and it's not fun to corral the family at any given time to make the 40 mile trek to put up with the crowds and the overpriced food/drink anymore.

They've got so much opportunity to make the place exciting again, but they'd rather keep giving us rejected rides from other parks (Borg, Cobra, etc).
