Bus to Carowinds (Charlotte: airport, rail, station) - North Carolina (NC) - City-Data Forum

Hi!

We arrived in Charlotte at the end of last week. On the bus from the airport there was an orange paper mentioning bus service to Carowinds. On the paper it indicates that there is service on weekdays from the I-485 rail station between 7:30 to 10:45. Which is awesome, but when I look online and try to plan a trip, it shows we have to catch it before 7. Anyone know what the actual schedule for the 42 bus to Carowinds is?

Yes, it appears you do have to leave before 7 am, I'm guessing it's geared towards employees who have to be there early? Transit Payment Center to Carowinds, SC - Google Maps
Checking again, it doesn't go BACK to uptown except for right after it drops off at Carowinds in the morning either. Doesn't really make sense to me to not pick up later if it is geared toward employees. Hopefully someone else on here will know more.
