One of mine, Mattie, sometimes sleeps on my head, too, or rather just above it but pressed up against the top of my head.

When it's getting near time for bed, Blackjack stands on my bed and howls for me to hurry up and get in. Then he has to get under the blankets next to me, take some time to arrange himself into the position he wants, and then settles down purring until some later point when he will suddenly extricate himself and bolt off the bed into the other room. I don't know why he does that last part. Meanwhile, Winkie climbs up on the bed meowing for attention and sometimes steps on Blackjack when he's under the covers, then he yells at her and she hisses...bedtime is not always easy.

And sometimes I wake up and Foxy is either next to me or sleeping at the foot of the bed. I notice since I moved here that they do it more in the winter--I'm on a concrete slab, no basement, and so I guess the floor is too cold.

Two of my cats sleep on various beds during the day and at night usually sleep with me, wherever I happen to be. Even if I fall asleep on the couch. They won't go out of their way to sleep with husband or son though.

One of my cats sleeps between my legs.
Her brother never sleeps in the bed.

My cat almost always sleeps on the bed with me in winter, but seldom in summer. So I'm not too terribly flattered.

Last night, my husband was sleeping sideways on his bed (getting some idea why we each have separate beds besides there being too many cats here for only one bed LOL?) and 3 of our cats were laying in the exact same position as he was. They were all tightly packed side by side, like a can of sardines, so close, I don't think you could get a piece of paper between any of them. LOL LOL LOL Too cute. Too bad I was making a "restroom run" and more then half asleep, or I would have gotten a picture. LOL

Janie used to sleep at the top of my head and chew on my hair.

drove me nuts.

She passed away 2 years ago and I would give anything to have her chew on my hair again....
