I'm going to start that book today NMS! I have also heard many times where people and even animals come to some kind of clarity just before they die. I've seen it with my own critters...I have to keep faith that my DH is only going to another level in this life we have. I have no idea how long he has and I will no longer dwell on that--I am going to enjoy him while he is here!

That is the spirit cyn we can be happy when we are having bad things going on around us. I like to remind myself in the heavy times that God is sparing me some other burden that makes me thankful for dealing with what I have to now.
