No matter how much Rush, yourself, and the other right-wingers repeat the mantra that high-earners are leaving CA en masse, it's actually low-come earners who leave at a much faster rate:

Jobs Aren't Leaving California For Texas, But People Are - Forbes

"Who leads the charge out of California? Even though California’s richer residents face high tax rates, lower-income households are more likely to leave. From 2005 to 2011, California lost 158 people with household incomes under $20,000 for every 100 who arrived, and 165 for every 100 people with household incomes between $20,000 and $40,000"
Has nothing to do with not liking brown people. People who come here illegally obviously have no respect for our laws or our culture. I have no problem with people immigrating here provided they follow the law. I dont support any ethnicity blatantly violating our immigration laws and demand they are entitled to something. Im calling a spade a damn spade. If you think what I say is unreasonable, try illegally immigrating to mexico and see how far that gets you. And btw, theres more ppl leaving CA up to about the 80-100k range than migrate in, it levels off past the 100k range and becomes a wash. and demonstrated by this graph.

Theres still far more ppl in the 50-100k range leaving than coming in. Nice try. Even the article you link says this statement "The rich aren’t leaving California, but the poor and the middle class are." SHYT ON.

Your data are old, there has been some changes in the migration statistics since 2010. But for immigration, there is a clear shift that this chart shows

That does not account for illegal immigration. I imagine the immigrants from Asia are likely Chinese and Indian along with other SE Asia countries.

The difference in the middle class ranges are barely perceptible. It's mostly lower income earners that leave.

These graphs were compiled near the height of the recession. Considering the way housing has shot back up to near recession levels, its safe to say CA is experiencing positive growth in upper income earners.

And negative growth of middle and low income earners further exaggerating the income inequality in the state. Some areas are already approaching the housing bubble peaks, and you will see more people leave the state due to absurdly high cost of living in the areas of the state where jobs are heavily concentrated (Bay Area and Socal)

Is this a legitimate response or are you just being a troll?

I moved here from Oregon and overall I love it here! Great weather, breath taking scenery, endless opportunities and jobs, well paying jobs, being closer to family, ethnic diversity, and the larger than life vibe. We are the center of the universe. I havettraveled all over the country and California is my favorite place, nothing else is like it.

The ONLY issue I have here are the stupid politics. Pelosi and her Marxist loons are pushing this great state more and more into Communism every year. I hate the high taxes and the Anti Gun Laws. These things sometimes makes me wish for more conservative pastures, but I love it here so I'm not going to leave. The high cost of living kinda sucks too, but we get paid more so it works out.

Center of the universe is quite an overstatement (perhaps this was a metaphor), center of attention? Perhaps, endless opportunities and jobs? Well that depends on where in CA you are. If your not in the SF bay area or Orange county there isnt much and competition is fierce. The "endless opportunities" seem to be concentrated in the tech sector in the bay area and orange county. Other than that the rest of the state is still struggling from the recession.
