Gee, just think how much we could cut if we didn't pay for illegal aliens schooling, healthcare and welfare
Yep, we could cut all those programs and transfer the money to the dept of Corrections, duh.

Read the thread title, you will notice the use of the term Moonbeam, yet another poster who has no idea why that moniker was applied to Jerry Brown, but is undoubtedly internally convinced it is a negative.

Funny how what gave Moonbeam his name is now mainstream, yet the lower 20% still haven't figured it out.

Furthermore, they flat out REFUSE to acknowledge that Jerry Brown has evolved into quite a frugal govt administrator.

Also it is very disheartening that right out the gate, some people dont even want to give him a chance to succeed.

Like I said in a post earlier, its like some hard right GOPers want California to fail so we will all run to them.

Which is strange, and a little psychotic.

The hollow indignation from the left is predictable and hypocritical seeing as how they got us into this mess.

Like little children once your room is clean you will receive a gold star.

Remember Jerry has promised no tax increases without voter approval. We'll see if he sticks to that or is still just another politician who can't deliver on a promise.

Voters handed the Democrats control of the budget, a legislative supermajority while also removing the 2/3 budget vote requirement and putting a Dem in as Governor. That was what the Dems said they needed so lets see how they use the tools.

As I've said before they are all on the clock as far as I am concerned. Show some progress before 2012 or expect more voter change.

You'll get real quiet when the deficit starts to go down, what will you complain about when that happens? Oh yeah , Obama that's right Plan B with the hysteria. Constant state of pseudo rage and hysteria. I hope you're a multi millionaire, if not you're just another sheep following a bunch of rich people that are laughing at you.

Oh please, spare us the deer-in-headlights act of innocence. As far as the GOP and the budget, they are nuns who double as hookers.

On the one hand, right wing extremists treat the poor like they are villains and in the same breath, are they fight tooth and nail to give tax breaks to the rich and want taxpayers to subsidize huge corporations.

Cut this, cut that, but oh, let's also eliminate capital gains tax and let companies crap on the environment.

Yes, by now we're all aware.

How about NO! This is about liberals digging us into this hole. Now deal with the ridicule until they dig us out. Or put me on ignore.
