Living in Chicago, I am constantly hearing on our sports radio that the Chicago Cubs have gobs of fans all over the United States. Is this true? If you live outside of Northern Illinois or Iowa and love the Cubs, respond.

The Cubs have no friends in St. Louis. The Cards have more friends nation-wide than the Cubs will ever have. Screw the Cubs.

I think because of WGN and large amounts of Chicagoans that relocate to other parts of the country; that the Cubs have more fans overall. I'm a White Sox fan, however, this topic is of some interest to me because I listen to lots of sports radio and they talk about this constantly.

Kiss off. Screw the Cards.

That right there is your typical Cards fan response. Anytime you wanna talk that smack, theres a million Cubs fans in Chicago alone who'd like to disagree with you. Heck, there are more Cubs fans in Chicago than the entire population of St. Louis. lol

More than the Yankkes? Doubt that. We've got more Yankees fans in LA than Dodgers fans. 26 World Series gave us some serious bandwagon fans. Just wish we could be a little more consistent. Love the Yanks but they are frustrating.

Cubbies. I'm not a fan of them, but I like them. I respect them, old team, classic team, struggling team. I'd like to see them in the World Series.

I never said we had more than the Yankees....but the Cards do have a lot of fans...we are number 2 in World Series victories behind the Yanks.

Live in SW Florida and... I Love the Cubs
My hubby is from the Boston area and he too hopes the Cubs finally make it to the World Series this year, just like the Red Sox did.
