CHICAGO, July 13 (UPI) -- Chicago's Bohemian National Cemetery plans to construct a replica of Wrigley Field's centerfield wall to store deceased fan's ashes, the project's creator said.

Dennis Mascari, who created the "Beyond the Vines" memorial, said he wants to secure a dozen restored Wrigley Field seats to be used in funerals or reflective moments at the memorial.

Talking The Curse MUST Continue

Perhaps the forces behind this undertaking should create a tombstone that says "World Series Chances - R.I.P.", which is symbolic of the Cub franchise's futility in the last 100 years since the last time they won a World Series. Given the number of times the Flubs tried and failed, it is only fitting. And they should plan to do this, oh, about the time the division races finish up in September.
