Wow, another thread whining about the other guy's driving habits.

I'm talking about the stop lights with a sensor in it. Joe Blow ahead of me won't go up to the line and the light won't change. I will have to wait for 5 minutes before he/she thinks "why does this light not work" and move up to the line.
Again if you read the posts and not the title you would know this.
No problem reading or comprehending.
It all comes back to "I will have to wait for 5 minutes", which boils down to whining, but that's OK. It takes all kinds to make the world go around.
Just wondering, how many times this has happened to you and does your horn not work?
If it happens that often, I think you've proved my point about bad design. Call the DOT or whatever.
Perhaps I will. It is kind of in the country so that is why they have a sensor. If Joe Blow won't move up they might as well change it back and ill wait the 3 minutes.
You know what bothers me; the fact that people follow so closely on highways and other roadways, but they will stop ridiculously behind other cars at traffic lights. I understand that you don't want to get rear-ended and also hit the car in front of you, but when space is at a premium near a light and cars are trying to squeeze in, I think you should be aware of them and move up.

I've seen 3 or 4 car lengths between cars before. What the hell their doing I don't know.
Most drivers are preoccupied with other things and or never took a proper driver's training course.
Left turn lane bays are really where most of them show their ignorance.
My biggest peeve is that in most large city intersections with a left turn lane, at least 3 cars can usually make the left turn if the drivers would all pull out into the intersection and then make the left as the light is turning red, sometimes more can fit. The norm for Los Angeles is some guy who stays behind the crosswalk and at the last minute guns it and only he makes it through, when in fact many more cars could have made the turn. When I am first at the light and there is oncoming traffic, I pull way out and 90% of the time the car behind me leaves a 1-2 car gap behind me and in front of them. It makes no sense whatsoever.
I often will squeeze in front of the car leaving all the room.
