If I had an ungrateful, selfish son such as this, he would get a whoopin' like you wouldn't believe...!

hahaha.
C'mon aries, would you like to be an Asian dad and have your 40 year old son who is still single living with you?

This is one thing I like about "white" familes. Once you turn 21 son, you need to find a job and move out of the house.

Ridesmart, Checked out the Highlands by Ashtonwoods today and these 25 homes will not have any problems selling through in the $400ks. Their model home "Cambridge" is up and the home is beautiful. Crazy thing is that Ashton Woods flew in their stagers all the way from Costa Mesa, CA (Orange County). From what I have observed, John Wieland and Ashton Woods are the best builders here in the north side and they are both bringing in southern california floor plans, and look and feel here to Johns Creek.

Ridesmart.. Good luck trying to get a discount on a new home like this in the Johns Creek, 30097 address.

Are the Highlands zoned for Chattahoochee High or Northview?

Yes, Wilful this is true. It feels like a complete different market when i was looking for a home in JC in 2009 &? 2010.

Is this real and has the market turned or is this just hype on the part of the salespersons we met.

Would love to hear what others think about the housing market at this time. Mr Panda are you out there?

I agree Highlands will eventually sell out, but I don't think it will happen very quickly. Their presale started weeks ago; I don't think they've sold a single unit yet. Their prices are what I consider fair but a tad bit more expensive than what makes people instantly commit. In this housing environment people are still looking for deals.

Again I like their offerings at highlands, but it will take time to sell.

As to realtors and builders indicating one needs to move fast, well I honestly won't expect them to say anything differently regardless of what environment we are in. That's how they make a living.
