If money were no object, I would love to live in the beautiful remodeled home I recently saw in Virginia Highlands...

I agree. The highlands would be my first choice. Luckily I had a few friends who lived there so I was able to take advantage of everything without driving home drunk since public transit is lacking!

I'd live in Vinings off of Woodland Brook. Beautiful homes there that I'll never be able to afford. Lots of trees and just a very nice area.

I'd really enjoy Underwood Hills. I lived in Berkeley Park in college....out of my taxation realm though..

Ansley Park. Or perhaps Brookwood Hills. I seethe with envy over my friends that do live there.

Right where I do now in the lovely far Northeast burbs of the Atlanta metro.
If not for the rain that just began to fall I would still be on my patio, sipping coffee, and watching the morning deer stolling in drinking from the bird bath.
Hearing the birds chirp and the colors of the flowers in bloom.

Later today I may go to a restaurant or one of the largest malls in the Southeast, only a short drive down the street. If it was a sunny day and the Gwinnett Braves were not in Charlotte, I may extend my drive an extra 5 minutes to catch a great game.

Oh yes, I love my home. Not a McMansion on a postage stamp but one I built.

If money were no object, I would probably by a second home in Vermont and a beach house in Naples, Florida.

Sandy Springs. Kid friendly neighborhood like Riverside.

Not extremely expensive, but perfect for what we want.

I could really care less about owning a $1MM+ home.

Gotta agree with a few posters on Ansley Park. The perfect mix of beautiful, historic homes, gorgeous topography, and fabulous location.
