All depends on a ton of factors. Am I single? Do I have a family? Etc. And depends on where you might work, if you work. Or how much money exactly. Yada yada.

If I was a very wealthy multi-millionaire (but not worth more than $20 million), and I was retired or semi-retired (with no commute), and if I was happily married with 2 dogs but without kids, then I'd probably pay cash for a very modest sized but awesome home in Virginia Highland for $1 or $2 million or whatever they're going for.

A) The city and everything in it would be my daily playground. I'd be conveniently located right in the middle of it all.

B) I'd be able to live large, eat at nice places, live the rich lifestyle, spend all my money on life and experiences rather than just on the nicest or largest home. And I'd be able to own nice things in my home, and fix it up and do fun projects.

C) I'd be able to travel the world, probably take a different fun trip every year. I'd Uber to the airport. I'd probably own a car or 2, and we'd drive, but we'd walk to places a whole lot, too. Uber would factor in heavily into the mix. I'd enjoy literally everywhere the Atlanta metro has to offer. I'd occasionally visit every suburb. Downtown Roswell for example is nothing to be laughed at, and I'd go to those places sometimes and eat and shop a bit. (But I'd still live in the city.) I'd be in Buckhead a lot. And Decatur, and Midtown, and even the Westside.

Now, if I was single in this scenario, I'd do all of that above the same, except instead of a house in VaHi, I'd opt for a similarly priced, very nice 2 bedr condo in Midtown. Maybe not the penthouse suite, but one of the top floors and larger units. Second bedroom would be either my home office, or a guest bedroom, or both. I'd live relatively modestly, well beneath whatever my actual means are. (And that would actually be the wealthiest lifestyle you can imagine.)

No where in Atlanta. Real money doesn't live here.

Why do I bother answering the question?

Wow, even bitter on Thanksgiving.

Give us all something to be thankful for, and just leave already. Perhaps you would be happier amongst the 'real' money down in Miami.

Georgia's #33 though so it doesn't really matter what you think about it.

Yes, it's always been a draw for shallow, vapid types.

Eurotrash and the 'chosen ones' from New York are always delightful to frolic with.

You should move there. They have tons of 'real' jobs to go along with all their 'real' money.
