Science didn't set out to make an enemy of religion, it set out to make the best determination of truth available. What they found has made religion start treating them like they are the enemy.
like i said, it depends on what denomination of atheists you are. I do not have to shun, change, deny any science to be true to 'my denomination of atheism". Like you, all I do is describe how the universe works.

Genesis was never intended to taken literally. They took and educated guess 2000 years ago, a good one at that, and figured they will describe it better when we learn more. The fact some people take it literally, that's a people problem not a religion problem. People can change their religion.

If a person has to change science "to be true to atheism" they are part of the problem, not the solution.

One small problem, its true.

so if you want to change a truth to meet your needs, that's on you. You might think about making the wheel a different shape to. lmao. if that's how you roll that is.

That lets me off the hook, I wouldn't know how to change any science even if I so desired.

I don't know what solution you are referencing....global agreement on all cosmic mysteries? The ultimate triumph of your particular outlook? What to have for dinner tonight?

It's true for creationism and the like.

Atheists don't need to change science.

How to defeat religious people in 2 seconds, point out that there are 4,200 different religions on earth which means there’s a high chance they chose the wrong one

For the Christians, Satan did it, quote the relevant scripture, move on and pretend they have not been refuted, until the chain comes back to this refutation, which they then claim was not refuted.

LMAO!! You got a chuckle out of me today. 2 points!!

I just ask a religious person who doesn't believe in Thor the Thunder God to tell me why they don't and then tell them that's exactly why I don't think your Gods exist. Sometimes they get pretty detailed which is a nice reflection on me. lol
