Not all Filipinos are poor as we can't afford buying Forever 21 clothing line. Not all Filipinos are slums that we cannot afford it. Other Filipino brands are same prices as those in Forever 21.
its true, not all poor Indonesian can't afford forever 21, its just that the brand is not as famous as it is in Philippines, in here the middle-upper class seem to not like it so much... and not all Indonesian are living in slums

Wow guys. You all spent a bunch of posts showing a bunch of nondescript shopping malls filled mostly with stores that can be found all over the world even in second or third tier cities in developed countries with no real distinguishing feature (and even the ones that are local look like they're trying to make the same thing all the other shops are shilling) followed up by photos of likewise ubiquitous events. Really impressed, guys. All we need is a bunch of photos of average but maybe somewhat mixed looking girls that are somehow supposed to be exotic birds of paradise and we've got a real winning streak of faceless mediocrity going here.
^^
Hehehe sorry i forgot that you are a woman sometimes, well you should get rid the idea of not being able to have fun in Indonesia, we love party as much as you people do too! small group of protesting conservative people won't stop us from having fun!
Many said that Jakarta nightlife is comparable to Bangkok's, and the music scene is definitely better.
^^ but it does represent the lifestyle and freedom that we have
look we may be the largest country with largest Islamic population but we are not Islamic state, so you'll find another version of Turkey or Lebanon instead, and doesn't mean that we can't have nightlife and booze in our daily life...
well except building large gambling resort, now that is less possible.. because the conservatives will protest about this and burn the place to the ground....
even the miss world event is only complained by small group of people, why should we care about this when majority of the people actually have no big deal about it
^^

What type of music scene do you have there? Christian Baustista became famous there he has a genre similar to Josh Groban?
