City: Atlanta, GA
Category: Shopping
Telephone: (770) 645-2050
Address: 1169 Canton St.

Description: Judy Raiford, herself a jeweler, has for years offered her home just prior to Christmas to other artists wishing to reach the affluent residents of Roswell seeking unique holiday gifts. With the opening of a formal gallery, these very same artisans and others now have a much-needed location in Roswell from which to vend on a daily basis. The Raiford Gallery, a two-story studio north of the city’s historic square, was built out of timber frame and is quite unusual. In 9,000 square feet the gallery has room for delicate custom silver necklaces as well as enormous wood carvings, and the range in styles and media reflects the scale of the new exhibition space.
