I also second Bangkok Joe's, Bodega, and Baked n Wired. I used to work in Georgetown and took a couple girls (one is now my gf) to those spots and they loved each, especially Bodega. Whenever my gf and I are in g'town now, we make it a point to hit up Baked n Wired. Best cupcakes hands down...bigger and cheaper than g'town cupcakes. Mr Smith's has decent food also and a nice outdoor patio to enjoy it.

After dinner, you guys can walk down the waterfront. Should be a nice romantic evening

+2 Thank you so much! Especially with the last sentence. What I have planned is checking out a movie at the AMC Georgetown, maybe shop around for a bday gift for her (Her bday is the day prior) on M St., wine and dine her (Don't worry, I'll get the virgin version Nothing illegal), stroll along the waterfront, and then onward to Baked & Wired for dessert to conclude a lovely Saturday evening in a most romantic part of The City.

And yes, I guess I really am one of those Hopeless Romantic types lol

LOL Guess we've all been there, done that huh? And I'll look up some Italian restaurants, and yeah, no chains either! I have no intentions nor interests on having a first date at Johnny Rockets or Five Guys Haha!
