Hi!

I don't live in DC, but will be "hosting" a lunch for executives in the Georgetown area. I need a restaurant that could facilitate a table for approx. 16, has great food, a lively but professional atmosphere, and top notch service. Any suggestions?

I appreciate any help you can offer!

Check out yelp.com and search for top rated restaurants in Georgetown. They have never steered me wrong.

You also never mentioned your budget. Try out Urbanspoon.com too.

you didn't mention your budget, that will make a big deal cause there are some places in G-town that are $$$$...

That said, one place that sprang to mind although it's fairly inexpensive, seafood only, and has kind of picnic bench seating is the Tackle Box. However, that's very informal and I don't think what you are after for a professional atmosphere... but it would be fun... I think though you're looking to entertain clients or something and also if you have someone who doesn't like seafood then you will be limiting them as well...

I love Clyde's in Georgetown. It's Americana, but still very upscale for execs. They have lots of seating, but get your reservations in soon! Also, the Georgetown area has a great list of restaurants. Check this link out, from the Georgetown Inn, one of G'town's best hotels: Georgetown Restaurants, Downtown Washington DC Dining & Nightlife Guide - Georgetown Inn (http://www.georgetowninn.com/dine/ - broken link) - if you scroll down, you'll see a list of dining choices. Best of luck!
