A while back I shared the story of when I went to my 10 year class reunion and asked out the girl I loved, and how I screwed everything up that same evening. Many years have passed since that parting, without seeing or hearing anything.
Where I am now, I have lived a hard life and it shows, and I'm sure she is still as pretty as she was then. And I feel like I am at the end of my time here and this song by Don Henley-The Heart of the Matter hits home. He said that the song took 42 years to write and 4 minutes to sing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRrT37ruAtE
I just want to leave something behind, so that even if I leave this world not ever hearing from her again, that she will know that I often thought of her as we never shared any ill words between us, and hope she only remembers that and not how I totally screwed up. That she would remember me in a loving way.

He really touched the heart of most men, I know that me, you, and Don, we know.
The entire album is untouchable and stands alone, so unique that it will never die, he relays something so well that so many others have tried. I spent a lot of time researching the history of that album back in the 90''s and it was awesome.
Really, really cool post, we need a lot more like them, keep pushing me and I am going Frampton on you lol.
