Very nice. I've always wanted one of those.

Clay Lady, what types of pictures are you interested in taking? This will help us give you a good recommendation for your needs.

Upgraded this year from an Olympus D550 that died an honorable death, to a Canon S5 IS.

Although I have never used them we also have an old Argus Cintar and an Ihagee Exakta V with an additional Schneider-Kreuznach lens.

We packed them away before moving and I totally forgot we had them.

I'm using a Fuji S9100 right now because I love what it does. I do have a Chinon 35mm with various lenses but haven't shot with film for awhile now.

DaBeez, I do a variety of things as a multi-media artist. I hire a pro to take shots of my work but I enjoy taking pictures of projects in progress - so that would be indoor shots. I love the outdoors and would like to be able to take pictures of bugs and flowers and sun sets. I think I would like a digital for the ability to take lots of shots and not worry about the number of shots left.

My arsenal consists of:

Nikon F5
Nikon FM
Nikon N55 (kids cam)
Nikon D200
Nikon S51 (purse cam)
Nikon L5 (hubby cam)

Too many lenses to mention, too much other stuff as well.
I am a sub contracting professional photographer.
I used to shoot weddings, but grew very tired of bride-zillas

I shot an 8 point on the first day of gun season...does that count? LOL!

Ya know, I forgot to mention the gun cabinet.....

Marlin 30-30 (the deer rifle)
.765 Argentinian Mauser (circa WWI left to hubby by a relative)
H&R Long Barrel 22 cal revolver (just for the hell of it.)
Ruger 9mm ('make my day')
and a .380, but bless my soul if I can remember the manufacturer.
