We had a professor at Haskell Indian nations named Dan wildcat. And oddly enough he was a graduate of Kansas State University and our mascot was called Wildcat.

While at Haskell they got a whole slew of us students summer jobs with either the US Forestry service or the US Fish and Wildlife service. And upon graduating from Haskell and Wildcat gave me a ride to Kansas State university. And it turned out that they had a deal where if you graduated from high school you could go to Kansas State and receive in-state tuition. So I work the summer in Manhattan Kansas and then I just went to school there. I really really loved it. Totally different atmosphere than from Lawrence and ku. I think Lawrence is probably a lot hipers in Manhattan kansas. But I met a lot of good people and I had a lot of fun.

Oklahoma State plays at Kansas State tomorrow. Should be a pretty good matchup. They're both three and one in conference play.

We had the BIGGEST snowflakes (snowclumps?) I have ever seen today, but with an air temp of 37 to 39 nothing stuck.

We got enough to cover the ground and it was really huge snowflakes. I'm somewhere in between Oklahoma City and McAlester.
