Below is linked the radiation pattern of WABC radio. The areas of NEPA where you can easily pick up WABC radio during the day are Pike, Wayne, Monroe, Carbon and Northampton counties.
If I were to guess, I'd say either Stroudsburg or Milford. Stroudsburg has 3 diners and Milford one but neither has an extensive pubic transport system.
If my guesses are incorrect, hows about another clue?
Ouch -- but accurate. I was in Walmart in Eastburg today, and yeah.
Yeah, it gets kinda dicey there late mornings into the afternoon. We try to get there early but not always successful. A few weeks ago, we went there, did our shopping and got some wings. When we were in the wing place, they were clearing out Walmart, police activity and all. Found out there was a shooting there. Dodged a bullet. No pun intended. Not that the Walmart in Milford is the Taj Mahal, mind you. Haven't heard anything extreme happening there yet.
I haven't run into " trashy people " but there are plenty of tailgaters.
Mostly women. Just pull over ,roll down window and wave them on.
Retired and rushing for nobody.
I need to get me onr of those
" I'm retired. That's why ! " sticker
and place it on the bumper of my car.
I just drive slower. They get it. Or they don't. Welcome to NEPA. I have a list of complaints but it is the slower life. Sit back, smell the roses and you'll be fine.
I looked at the area around Honesdale as a possible escape from NY location. It seems to have a bit more going on than the rest of the area North of 84. South of 84 and even 80 seems to have even more going on, but a lot of what goes on down there I may not want.
