I disagree. Why allow 5000 illegals per day? The republicans are not getting everything they want, and considering the situation, they should. No concessions. Biden has been a disaster at the border his entire time in office. There is no way he should get a win now that the Dems decided it hurts them in an election year.

All considered, the price of that win should involve giving the republicans everything they want. Anything less is just not worth it. They will just fix it after the election.

It’s ridiculous Texas is shipping illegal immigrants up here though. You would think aiding and abetting illegal immigrants would be a crime, not a state policy.
You are absolutely right - Joe Biden should be arrested.

Apparently schools are being bombarded by illegals in the state. Was listening to nj1015 this morning, teachers were calling in saying its crisis levels in some schools. All the illegals are now flooding the schools and taking away resources from the students.

I don't recall the town or if they said which ones.

Yes, this was depicted in the movie Doctor Zhivago. I worked with a woman whose family fled Latvia after World War II. They settled in NJ and in the 90s, after the fall of the USSR, they returned to Latvia to visit family members who still lived there. They visited with an aunt and her daughter who lived in an apartment in Riga, the capital city, with a man who was unrelated to them but placed with them by the (former) government.

The Senate Bill would've just given us de jure open borders which is worse than Biden's de facto open borders.

Nothing has been mentioned about the final destination of the migrants.

If it works like it does in NY state, the local authorities here in NJ will have no power to detain any migrant who leaves the processing center and just disappears into the local community. They will be free and in the wind.
great. so the hospitals are closed to the people who really need them, so we can instead house illegals. instead of providing services for the mentally ill we jail them, or they just end up on the streets. i was a little sad about turning 60 but the more i think about it, i can't wait for it all to end for me.

doesn't sound like a bad idea to me, these migrants are here to stay and that old hospital has been closed for 12 years.
