They aren't illegals per se but asylum seekers who are getting court dates in the 2030s. A lot if not most are moving about on their own. Abbott's strategy is brilliant as it exposes Biden's failed border policies and the hypocrisy of Dems. This wouldn't be getting as much national attention if it weren't for Texas transporting them everywhere and mayors complaining about it. When people clearly see resources diverted from Americans to migrants, it opens their eyes to the effects of open borders.

Reinstatement of Remain in Mexico in January 2025 can't come soon enough. I think it would be awesome if Abbott became head of DHS.

There is no border crisis. The open border is the Biden Admin policy.

NYC is spending $394 per day to house and feed each so called "migrant" or unauthorized immigrant as they are euphemistically called now.

That's $143,810 EACH per year.

A huge social services industry has sprung up to transport, service and care for these people. All paid for with our tax dollars.

Plus, if they remain in the country, they will be counted in the next census.

The apportionment of congressional seats in the House of Representatives is based on the census population count. As such the migrants could have a direct impact on our representation. An argument could be made that the Biden admin is importing a new constituency.

Hope they can be kept from squatting in NJ.

We the people have ceded control of our government over to these people. We deserve this.

The original Constitution had the voting situation correct. The changes should have been to allow black landowners and female landowners to vote.

Nope. Landowners only. They had it correct. The people with real skin in the game understand where all the “free money” comes from.

If they are going to allow them in the country, they belong in the sanctuary cities and states. Those are the places that are inviting them here. Those are the places that are telling them that it is OK for them to be here. Those are the places where the people vote in politicians that tell them they are wanted.

So is Murphy officially saying that we are no longer a sanctuary state? Or does he want it both ways, where he can say we are a sanctuary state but we don't want any illegals here? You cant please everybody.

Amazing how these people are all for open borders when it is Texas's problem, but when it is their problem they all do a complete 180.

From: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanctuary_city#

New Jersey
In 2018, Attorney General Gurbir Grewal issued the 'Immigrant Trust Directive', which effectively made New Jersey a sanctuary state. Among the municipalities which are considered sanctuary cities are Asbury Park, Camden, East Orange, Hoboken, Jersey City, Linden, New Brunswick, Newark, North Bergen, Plainfield, Trenton and Union City. Those with specific executive orders made by mayors or resolution by municipal councils are:

Jersey City
Maplewood
Newark
East Orange
Prospect Park
Union City
Highland Park (see:Reformed Church of Highland Park)
Hoboken

Did NJ not oppose the closing of the border and declare itself a sanctuary state for illegal immigrants? If so, the only ridiculous part about this is that they're upset for getting exactly what they wished for.
