It should be quite obvious by now that these offshore windfarm construction projects are killing whales and dolphins at an alaming rate. There is now a petition (I believe it was created by local officials on LBI) to cease the construction projects just to see if it makes a difference in the death rates of these lovely ocean creatures. Please feel free to sign the petition to Stop/Pause Windfarm Construction. Several more Dolphins were found dead this morning in Sea Isle this morning. Enough is enough! This ONLY started happening since these projects started.

A bunch of shore mayors dont want the windmills off their coast and they are tricking small minded people into fighting for them by linking this to whale deaths.
Then how about pausing construction and see what happens?? If the deaths stop at such a historical high rate, then the truth would be obvious. Common sense

The people of New Jersey do not deserve the worlds largest windmill farm off their beach, with preemptive known destruction of the fishing industry, death of whales and dolphins and destruction to its $37 Billion tourism industry. Let alone the known human health effects that windmills cause.

The people who forced us in NJ to stop using plastic straws, grocery bags, and created massive outrage about leases to open up oil exploration for non-existent oil all for the sea life are the very same people are completely fine with death and destruction of the sea life.

100% correct Danny. This is absolutely all about money. I believe NOAA even has investments into this project as well. I really pray this project is at least paused just to prove that is surely the cause of these record high frequency deaths ever since it started. If they really cared about the environment, they will pause this crap to see if it makes a difference.

There's more information on Facebook than the news can report. A few stories that were lightly reported on were the 3 dolphins, including a calf that died on March 15th in Middletown Township. The other story are the distressed dolphins in the Navesink River in Middletown. Those are the couple from this week, after I started paying attention.
Incorrect! This only just started happening at this rate since construction started! There are several liberal media sources and liberal groups such as NOAA who deny the obvious since they have big money invested in these green energy windmills. But data has proven that the death rates of these creatures is at the highest rate in history since these projects began.
NOAA is not a "liberal" group. It is a government agency, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The agency is responsible for weather forecast and satellites, marine fisheries, etc. It's one of the more useful agencies out there. NOAA doesn't invest in projects.

78 dead whales were reported in 2017, including humpbacks and right whales, and 59 in 2018, 2019, and 2020.
An average of 52 whales have died each year along the coast since 2007.
In 2022, 43 whale deaths were reported.
So far this year, 13 whale deaths have been reported between New York and Florida.
Ask a 5th grader what averages mean or a 10th grader to explain numbers fluctuate year over year

Like you, I find it fascinating when a group of people who never before uttered any words in favor of environmentalism or animal welfare are now--suddenly--avowed environmentalists/animal welfare proponents, simply because this scenario might be susceptible to being used to promote their anti-windmill agenda.
