It should be quite obvious by now that these offshore windfarm construction projects are killing whales and dolphins at an alaming rate. There is now a petition (I believe it was created by local officials on LBI) to cease the construction projects just to see if it makes a difference in the death rates of these lovely ocean creatures. Please feel free to sign the petition to Stop/Pause Windfarm Construction. Several more Dolphins were found dead this morning in Sea Isle this morning. Enough is enough! This ONLY started happening since these projects started.

Just signed it. 11 dolphins dead in the past few days. There are a handful of distressed dolphins in the river in Middleton Township now, where some others including a calf washed up this weekend.

Ummm... no...
That phenomenon has been taking place for quite a few years, on both the Atlantic and Pacific coasts:

Incorrect! This only just started happening at this rate since construction started! There are several liberal media sources and liberal groups such as NOAA who deny the obvious since they have big money invested in these green energy windmills. But data has proven that the death rates of these creatures is at the highest rate in history since these projects began.

Mayors of several coastal towns have also confirmed that these deaths have never happened at such high frequency before.

this is just a right wing conspiracy. There are literally no whales and dolphins that are in peril. They die all the time, and have been since the beginning of their existence. The greater good is wind power, and all the fossil fuels used to make them, deliver them, and install them so that we can all feel good about us doing something positive (besides bag bans) for the climate.

It certainly isn't normal for schools of dolphins to wash up on shores every other day, and whales beaching themselves onto our shores weekly.

Outside of everything else, these windmills are already recognized to destroy the entire clamming industry in NJ.

Danny is correct! This is happening WEEKLY, if not every other day! This is far from normal and ONLY started happening at this frequency since construction started. These are FACTS!!

Got to love how people "prove their point" by saying "it should be quite obvious"

A bunch of shore mayors dont want the windmills off their coast and they are tricking small minded people into fighting for them by linking this to whale deaths.
