HT used to be in the area. There was stores in North Myrtle, Surfside and Litchfield. Look for them to be back in the area in the near future. It's good to see Publix in the area.
HT used to be a lot like Publix. It was owned by employees and it's main focus was on customer service. Times have changed.

Default Kroger Acquiring Bi-Lo Holdings? Speculation

The supermarket landscape may be changing not only in the Myrtle Beach market, but across the southeastern United States. Kroger is rumored to be acquiring Bi-Lo Holdings, which includes Bi-Lo and Winn Dixie. I wonder if this would cause Publix to get the ball rolling on additional stores in the area.

Kroger owns Harris Teeter.

The Prince Creek area would be a good location for a Publix store.

Is that was is going in at 707 and Prince Creek Parkway? Right across from our community (Park West). That intersection stop sign is bad news now. Hope they planned some solutions with the 707 upgrade. I would suggest an entrance from 707 up from Prince Creek Parkway.......
