YouTube - Brooklyn Water Works
No, our , LI's water used to come from NYC. There is something to those lakes though. I used to live in Massapequa rite down the block from the woods. And in there they had those lakes all along the paved bike path there. They've been there forever. I'll ask my father what they exactly were for. He grew up there. Which is how I found out about the Brooklyn Water works.

Montauk Lighthouse, last October. It was a gorgeous fall day, We took a ride to see East Hampton, had awesome burgers at a great pub restaurant called Rowdy Hall, and figured why not go all the way to "the end"? We watched on our navigation on our truck as we slowly approached "the end" of LI...

Boy were we glad we did. It was our first time to Montauk ever. Hard to see but there are actually deer on the lawn on the left hand side. We could not believe the beauty of nature right here at our fingertips on LI.

I love the lighthouse and all of Montauk....don't get out there nearly enough anymore. It's a shame you gotta drive through the Hamptons to get there.

We are going to the U.S. Open next August. Tennis. We have a motorcycle for touring onboard our c-class RV. How far away would we be parking? Wal-mart or elks clubs or anywhere for the day. Dean
