Two years ago (on 8-20-2019) -- which is a mere 3 comments prior to this comment that you are reading now -- I posted a comment to this thread (comment # 499), which said "Boy, it's been a long, long time since anyone has felt compelled to post any photos in this thread.
I wish this would change."
And now, two years after that previous comment, I state this very same comment again here (on Tues, 9-7-2021):
Boy, it's been a long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long time since anyone has felt compelled to post any photos in this thread. I really really wish this would change. 
If I muself were still situated in the greater Downstate New York metro area, I myself would take trips at times to Long Island (if I wasn't already living and/or working in Long Island itself, for that matter) and occasionally post photos myself of varied types.
