What beautiful old homes! I always think when I see old houses that there was someone, at one time, that had the house built and was so excited about their new home and what all that must have felt like!!
In the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area, they have the 1850s Homeplace where you can actually walk around a farm rebuilt from that time in this area. My wife's family was from this area. This corn crib belonged to her grandfather and was moved to this site.
Cadiz, Ky. is the home of the Country Ham Festival every October. People, and businesses, decorate these pigs and put them in their yards and in front of their businesses. Hogwash Pig | Flickr - Photo Sharing!
