Why would the charges be dropped if Biden is in? He doesn't operate like Trump who pardons the likes of Blago and Stone and Flynn. You have got the wrong party bub.

If Madigan is indicted and out, I will join the Munchkins in singing Ding Dong, the witch is dead. He is a human cancer that needs to be removed.

What's sad is 99% of the state hates him and we can even organize a protest of millions of people outside his office to pressure him to resign. I don't want any more protests after the continuing BLM ****-show...but we have to get this guy out of office and would gladly join one.

That's not at all how that would go down.

I'm not sure why you'd go down the more difficult route of protesting for him to resign when he wouldn't. The easier choice, by far, would be convincing literally anyone to run against him and volunteering to canvas, work phone banks, etc. to get his ass voted out. You say that a supposed 99% of the state hates him and yet... here we are.

I also enjoy you not understanding the irony of not wanting people to express a freedom granted to them by the U.S. Constitution (especially against police brutality), but then go on to say how one protest against a state congressman would be a-O.K., lol.
Rioting, looting, burning and attacking cops is not a freedom granted by the US Constitution. Apparently you didn't see the boarded up city after the "peaceful" protests...or the 18 cops injured at the Columbus statue.

Also, Jason Gonzalez did run against Madigan in Midway but lost partially because Madigan has everyone in that district on his payroll with no show jobs and also because Madigan stacked the ballot with phony candidates with Hispanic Sounding names to confuse voters. These "candidates" didn't even have pictures, refused requests for interviews/photos from the press and wouldn't even answer the door when people knocked. When Gonzalez brought a lawsuit against Madigan the judge even agreed that Madigan's team did that but that voters should vote him out. Well the judges and voters are on his payroll. It's the epitomy of corruption. Google any article on it...

They say Madigan doesn't personally use email or texts or any other sort of written communication so he leaves no record of his crimes. He, like Daley JR. has underlings do all the dirty work and fall on their swords and insulate him.

Come on, lol.

Well, that's where the volunteer work comes in. You said that 99% of the state supposedly hates him, yet he's still in office. Go educate some voters. Without even looking at the data, it sounds like Gonzalez's ground game could have used that.
This is for another thread but BLM protests are a joke. Murders are up 51% from the same point last year, along with a 47% increase in shootings with the vast majority in black hoods. It's like protesting against using plastic straws when they're creating a sea of plastic everywhere else.

Madigan would resign if the 99% of voters not in his district shouted him down outside his office. Millions of people vs. the ones in his district on his payroll. People have even stated...why run for governor when you can control the state from a small district assuring yourself reelection every year. It's a brilliant plan for corruption.

Nine legislators have called for his unconditional resignation. Many others (Eric Zorn calls them the "If Troop") say if indicted he should step down. Politicians are not known for being courageous, so even a few saying he should resign is notable.

As is certainly your prerogative!

Regarding Madigan, did anyone see the story in the Trib this am about the guy who was electrocuted by faulty wiring from ComEd and how his nephew working with him had both arms amputated because ComEd was stonewalling the wife in her wrongful death lawsuit? So while ComEd and Madigan and their cronies pad their own pockets, real people suffer from these people having the reigns of power? It's disgusting.

Hmmm, more prerogative!

Investigative hearings are now being held. Likely nothing will come of it. But it seems to be getting closer day by day.

Maybe he’ll have a crisis of conscience, leave office, and devote his life and ill begot wealth to making restitution.

Might as well go on full fantasy mode.

Great replies by all. I’m just wondering when the indictment for Madigan is coming?
