I just watched Tom Skilling and he's talking 14" of snow far northern suburbs, only 1-3" far south. Ya, quite a spread.

The city of Gurnee announced today that drivers are pretty much on their own because the city is out of salt. The last bits of the salt stock are being used on hills only.

Seems like someone is not going to get re elected when he is up for re election

Daley should sell it to them at ten times what Chicago paid for it. That might help the budget a little bit. jk...

DeKalb pulled plows off the road about an hour ago because they were getting stuck in "blizzard conditions."

Odd. I was out in that area during the storm and happened to get stuck behind a few plow trucks.

Boy that sun sure feels good today. I just stepped outside for about 10 minutes and sat on the bench with my face in the sun, felt great!

The sun is gorgeous, but it's still pretty darn cold out!! If only it would at least break 20 degrees!

Yeah, its still cold, no doubt. I just went outside again and the sun is far enough down on the horizon that I cant feel it anymore. Gonna be cooooold tonight.
